London based Harriman Steel are a creative agency who have a few typographically driven pieces in their portfolio. The work shown here for London Fashion Week shows how typographic signage can be both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

For a second season the British Fashion Council commissioned HarrimanSteel to design and art direct the branding and signage for London Fashion Week.

Somerset House presents a challenging venue that cries out for clear wayfinding allowing guests to navigate their way around the Designer Exhibition.

Alongside the graphics HarrimanSteel created an installation within the main stairwell at Somerset House – using scarves created in collaboration by ‘The Creative Archive’ and this season’s NEWGEN winners.
