Lovely identity and promotional stuff from Village Green Studio. I was particularly drawn to the Vinyl Factory branding brief.Heres the low down on the project from the studio itself.

The Vinyl Factory is a music and arts enterprise. They curate exhibitions; manage a large event space in central London; produce exquisite limited edition vinyl packaging in collaboration with artists and designers; publish the bi-monthly online Fact Magazine; and are behind London's leading independent record store Phonica. Combining a logotype with a series of experimental mark making techniques created a simple identity system that is used across a number of promotions and applications.

The relationship between type and image is spot on. I think it would be too easy to try to make the type feel more like street art or tie in more properties of the brand within the type. This is really good example of how typography can be portrayed when in different contexts. I don't think this immediately screams music and art but when presented in this context is works very well.
