Jeni Sargeant - Foil failures

I have been having a bad time trying to foil some sample business cards with the fedrigoni stock I got. I initially started to screen print these but the glue would go through the screen properly, and so I opted to put some of the stock through the laser printer which worked much better.

The stocks I used were Sirio Stardust Cafe, Sirio Nero, and Saville Row Camel Tweed which has an awesome texture. In the end I printed one colour on the Tweed stock which looks significantly better.

I think the detail on the cards was the problem and the tiny amount of glue just wouldn't stick. I might try again next week but we'll see what happens.
